Bottle darters dart and dive aggressively in current, making them deadly in moving water like rip tides and inlet edges where striped bass set up to ambush bait. Rigging & Use

• Cast across or slightly up-current to the seam
• Pull the rod tip back hard right after splashdown to make the plug dig and dart
• Slow steady retrieve with occasional sharp twitches — let the current animate the lure
• White / Yellow/White: dawn, dusk, and clear water
• Bunker: bunker-pattern bait imitation
• Blurple / Olive/Silver: low light, stained water
