The Tactical Angler Power Clip and Micro Power Clip are the pinnacle in "paper clip" style lure clips. High quality stainless wire in a "no-slip" design. Easy to use and provides maximum strength and dependability.
TA's Micro Power Clips have been added to the line up for light tackle and fly fisherman.

So, after favorable reviews and using the larger TA clips for spin fishing, my buddy and I decided to try the new micro mini TA clips for flyfishing. Fishing side by side, both using the same white deceiver (that I tied),but I used the clip while my buddy tied direct, my partner proceeded to catch and keep catching while I had not a touch. After landing his 6th striper, I decided to take off the clip and tie direct. First cast, a fish. Second, etc. I just have to attribute it to the fish being spooked by the shiny clip or the different movement of the deceiver when tied to the clip, in the Cape s very clear water. Will give the micro mini clip another try here on Long Island where the waters aren t as clear and see if there s a difference but, as of now, I m hesitant to use them.
Works great with pretty much the entire super strike line up and other basic plugs. It's fine with all your standard bucktails and swimbaits. Not so good if you are using some stuff like smaller jig heads or soft plastics.
The best. Makes switching lures on the fly so easy.
I like the smaller profile vs a snap swivel and the faster lure change vs. knots when albie fishing.
